Olson, 94, formerly of Bonita Springs, Fla., and Superior, Wis., died Wednesday Oct. 27, at Eagle Cliff Manor. He was born May 7, 1905, in Superior. He farmed in northern Wisconsin and sailed as a merchant seaman on the Great Lakes. His wife, Elisabeth, preceded him in death in November of 1997. Jule is survived by son, Tom (wife, Elaine) Olson of Billings; daughter, Mary (husband, Bob) Huse of River Falls, Wis.; and grandson, Scott Olson of Tucson, Ariz. Memorial Services will be held 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at Simplicity Burial & Cremation Services, 528 Lake Elmo Drive. Cremation to follow.
