  [S8072387553] The Lima News, http://www.limaohio.com, 4, 31 Jul 1945. Elmer A. East, 79, life-long resident of Allen County, died at his home at 1010 N. Cole st. at 8:25 pm, Monday. East was a member of Central Church of Christ and the Borrowed Time club. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. C. W. Gale, 1218 Hazel Ave; a son, Kenneth, at home; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Ewing, Lima Route 4, and Mrs. Ida Bartlett, Sheridan. Services will be held at 10am, Thursday (fast time) at the Huffer funeral home, with Rev. Paul Runk officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn cemetery.
