Harold H. (Hook) NAWMAN, 67, of 201 North Clairmont Ave., died at 5:45 p.m. Friday, February 17, 1984 in Community Hospital following one year of failing health and one week of serious illness. He was born in Springfield, Ohio on February 27, 1916, a son of Henry and Emma (CALLISON) NAWMAN and resided in Springfield all of his life. He had been employed as plant superintendent for Hoppes Manufacturing Company for 25 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 397, Masonic Lodge #100, Northwoods Hills Country Club, the Union Club and was a former member of the Liedertafel Club. Survivors include his wife, Margaret L.; one sister, Mrs. Evelyn MERRIMAN, Springfield; a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lillian BERNICE, January 21, 1980; one brother J. Harvey; two sisters, Lola HINKLE and Catherine C. HINKLE. Friends may call in the Conroy Funeral Home from 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Father Thomas Dorenbusch, officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the donors' favorite charity
