  Nickname: Julian In 1896, according to A Portrait and Biographical Record of Putnman County, Ohio, Benjamin and Julia resided in Pioneer, Ohio. According to the 1900 Williams County, Ohio Census, Julia is the mother of six children with only three surviving as of that time and both of her parents were born in Pennsylvania. Julia is not mentioned as a surviving sibling in her sister, Susan's, obituary in 1914. Julia is buried next to her husband, Benjamin, and her markers states "J.M. Sholty, Mother, his wife"
