  Also known as "The Merchant". Member of Congress 1765. Member of the Legislature of Maryland 1762-68 Financially supported Charles Wilson Peale (the artist of many of the famous founding fathers' images). In return, a portrait of Ringgold is said to exist, but I cannot find it.
